A brand newFortniteupdate was deployed earlier today (November 3) for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. However, don’t get too excited as no new content is included in the latest patch.
As v18.40 is expected to arrive at the beginning of next week, players can expect plenty of new content included in the upcoming content update. Unfortunately, today’s update isn’t quite as exciting.

Thankfully, no server downtime is required for today’s patch. But players will be prompted to download and install a small patch before they can play again. The update also appears to only be for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, with no update currently available for PC.
