Yesterday’s PlayStation 5 showcase gave the world another look at the next generation of PlayStation games and a look at the price tag for the new system itself. In addition to trailers and teasers for some highly anticipated games likeÂSpider-Man: Miles Morales,ÂDemon’s Souls, andResident Evil 8: Village, we got a new teaser trailer forFive Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach.TheÂFive Nights At Freddy’sÂseries is a horror series and has been around since 2014, makingSecurity Breachthe eighth mainline entry. The game has been teased by its creator, Scott Cawthon,on his websitefor the past year and there have been a handful ofleaks from retailers confirming the game’s release.
Much of the gameplay stays the same from game to game in the mainlineFive Nights At Freddy’sÂseries. The player is forced to stay in one place and interact with the world so that the animatronic monsters can’t reach them before morning. The location is what sets each game apart andÂFive Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breachis going bigger than ever before. The game seems to be set in a mall and will no doubt add tothe cryptic lore and underlying storythat the games are known for.
Security BreachÂisn’t the first time the series has been partnered with Sony for a release. The game that came before it,ÂFive Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted, was announced atthe 2019 PlayStation State of Playand was a timed exclusive for the PSVR and the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive before getting a non-VR port elsewhere.
While it’s not clear yet what the story or gameplay changes will be forÂFive Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach, it will be available as a PlayStation timed exclusive.
