While all Emblem Rings inFire Emblem Engagehave a tremendous amount of power, some are greater than others. These 10 Emblem Rings have the most beneficial abilities for you to make use of. You may only use these abilities once per Engage cycle, so pick your timing wisely.

10Lucina - All For One

Chain attacks can be a powerful method of adding extra damage from adjacent Backup Units. Luncia’s Emblem attack All for One empowers this mechanic by allowing all nearby allies to chain attack regardless of Class.

When attacking an adjacent foe with All for One, all allies within 2 spaces follow up the assault with chain attacks. When you have a collection of Units in the general vicinity of a foe, try using All for One. Doing so will create a chain reaction of cascading attacks that can eliminate many foes.

FE Engage Lucina All For One

9Ike - Great Aether

Casting Great Aether causes the Unit to enter a charge state, waiting for the start of their next turn to unleash chaos. Ike’s Emblem ability grants the Unit Def/Res+5 but prevents it from counterattacking. Once their next turn begins, the Unit finishes their charge and lets loose a whirlwind attack, hitting all foes within two spaces.

Additionally, the Unit heals for 30% of the damage dealt. This ability is best used on a frontline tank that cancharge into the fray, sit in enemy territory, and wait to release their attack.

FE Engage Ike Great Aether

8Corrin - Torrential Roar

A great opener to combat, Torrential Roar can damage and debuff the enemy. Corrin’s Emblem Ring grants a Unit the ability to attack 3 spaces in a line as well as turn those spaces into water terrain. Water terrain affects a Unit in that space with Avo-30, making them more vulnerable to incoming attacks.

When starting a turn, an effective strategy is to flank with a Unit holding Corrin’s Emblem Ring and then cast Torrential Roar on the enemy frontline to soften them up and make them easy prey for upcoming ally actions.

7Roy - Blazing Lion

Roy’s Blazing Lion is one of the most interesting and unique Emblem attacks. Sword users are able to swing a fiery blade that hits an adjacent foe as well as the two foes on either side of it. In addition, the 3-space affected area, as well as the two rows behind them, are set ablaze.

This wide-swinging sword attack can wreak havoc on the enemy by causing a large amount of fire damage to an area. Mystical Units like Celine cause the flame area to be expanded when using Blazing Lion.

6Micaiah - Great Sacrifice

The strongest healing ability in the game is Micaiah’s spell Great Sacrifice. Once used, Great Sacrifice instantly heals all allies to full health, and if used by a Qi Adept, it also cures all status effects. The downside to this spell is that it reduces the casting Unit’s current HP to 1 after use.

Great Sacrifice can save all allies from sticky situations. However, ensure that the Unit using it is safe, as it will put them immediately in danger. If used safely, Great Sacrifice can be a game-changing spell.

FE Engage Roy Blazing Lion

5Lyn - Astra Storm

The bow-wielding Emblem Lyn can reign down terror from a distance. With her ability Astra Storm, Units can launch 5 bow attacks at 30% damage to foes within a distance of 10 spaces. Covert Units double this range, causing Astra Storm to hit nearly any enemy on the battlefield.

This Emblem attack is particularly powerful because of its ability to remove enemies from the battle at a great distance. If a foe is operating a turret or launching spells from range, a strong Astra Storm can cease their interference.

FE Engage Micaiah Great Sacrifice

4Leif - Quadruple Hit

Leif’s Emblem Ring grants the wearer Quadruple Hit, a devastating strike from avariety of sources. When attacking with Quadruple Hit, the Unit swings with a sword, lance, axe, and bow, volleying a plethora of strikes at the enemy. This can often eliminate enemies in a single attack as it can deliver far more damage than a normal attack.

In addition, when paired with a Covert Unit, Quadruple Hit can contribute to your war chest. Assassins like Yunaka gain a chance to have foes drop 1,000g when they are equipped with Leif’s Emblem Ring.

3Celica - Warp Ragnarok

Movement on the battlefield can be the difference between finishing a fight unscathed and potentially losing allies. With Celica’s ability Warp Ragnarok, Units can travel a large distance before inflicting terror on their foe. When equipped on a Cavalry Unit, Warp Ragnarok increases its travel radius from 10 to 12.

Whether you’re using Celica’s Ring on a Unit that inherits this Type Bonus or not, the travel distance and damage make it an incredibly useful spell. Magic users should all be competing to have Celica’s Ring equipped, as it can be highly effective.

2Marth - Lodestar Rush

One of the strongest offensive Emblem abilities is Marth’s Lodestar Rush. When unleashed on an adjacent foe, Lodestar Rush launches 7 consecutive sword attacks at 30% damage. If equipped on the Divine Dragon Alear, it increases to 9 attacks.

One reason why this attack is so strong is because of its ability to avoid counterattacks. Lodestar Rush deals a tremendous amount of damage and also executes its strikes without giving the enemy an opportunity to counter. When used correctly, Lodestar Rush should eliminate any enemy it’s used on.

1Byleth - Goddess Dance

The biggest constraint of a Unit’s capability on the battlefield is its limit of one action per turn. If you have a Unit equipped with Byleth’s Emblem Ring, it can grant 4 allies a 2nd action during your turn. When a Unit casts Goddess Dance, all adjacent allies are granted another action.

If used by a Cavalry Unit, the affected allies also gain Dex+10. If you attack with your 4 most powerful Units and then have their turns reset by Goddess Dance, you can quickly dominate the battlefield. This can be particularly impactful if you are using Goddess Dance on Engaged Units.
