Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

10Loveless

A Stylish Escape From Jenova’s Uprising

A majority of the mini-games that appear in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - and on this list - reside within the famous Gold Saucer. The amusement park is also home to the interactive play Loveles,-which was previously advertised throughoutFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeand the greater Final Fantasy franchise.

In Rebirth, Cloud and his party can participate in an interactive recreation of the fictional musical play. The player’s goal is to receive an S ranking for their performance. It’s a fantastic way to include the old quirk from the franchise, and it’s 100% worth taking part in to see the fabulous costumes clad on each character. It’s not the best mini-game out there, but it’s worth noting in this ranking.

9Chocobo Racing

A Small Price To Pay For Getting Piko’s Greens

After being taken captive by Rebirth’s own Jeff Goldblum - Gus from Corel Prison - Cloud can roam the vicinity doing small jobs before being able to leave. One of them involved acquiring a bunch of greens foran exhausted Pikothe Chocobo being looked after by Bill - and it’s heart-breaking to make the poor bird wait.

After Piko is replenished, Cloud will participate in Chocobo Racing, which is part of the Gold Saucer’s amusement. The simulation track, combined with the drifting techniques, will make you believe you’re indulging inMario Kartfor big birds. This mini-game takes the win over Loveless just for beating the stuck-up jockey Joe at his own game.

Relive This Exhilarating Race From Remake

Final Fantasy 7 Remake featured a high-octane race between Cloud and the mini-boss Roche; therefore, fans were happy to see this moment brought back in Rebirth through a Gold Saucer mini-game. Operating as a classic racer, Cloud must shrug off Shinra soldiers and coast down the highways at high speed to get the best score possible.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: All Gold Saucer Dates & How To Get Them

The Gold Saucer date is one of the best parts of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Here’s how to get each outcome.

Any motorbike racer is a thrill to take part in - quite possibly ingrained from the joy of arcade games - and the controls make you feel like you’re right there on the bike with the blonde-haired protagonist. G-Bike takes a higher position than Chocobo Racing for its adrenaline-infused gameplay that’s satisfying enough to replay multiple times.

7Piano Mini-Game

A Challenge For Any Musician

A piano game that gives you all the notes to hit while you play along to a tune doesn’t sound too bad, right? Wrong. This mini-game, first introduced in Tifa’s house, is quite tricky if you want to hit all the sharps and flats ofthe sheet music, requiring good coordination to play the harmony in time with the melody.

A flurry of fans have shared several clips from Rebirth of them playing popular Final Fantasy tracks, such as To Zanarkand fromFinal Fantasy 10, as well as other popular music from the real world. The challenge involved in this mini-game and the range of music to be recreated deserves a higher ranking than G-Bike.

63D Brawler

Always A Pleasure To See The Polygons

Channeling the same boxing mechanics asMike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!, the Gold Saucer’s 3D Brawler provides a close-up image of Cloud and an opponent duking it out within the original game’s Polygon design. Adversaries include the amusement park’s owner, Dio, in all his caped glory, and Sephiroth.

It’s an absolute joy to see these vibrant, 3D figures appear in Rebirth, and this mini-game is simple in its execution but electrifying enough to replay time and time again. Punching the keys of a piano doesn’t quite feel as satisfying as knocking the socks off a Polygon opponent, especially when you land that right hook perfectly.

5Pirate’s Rampage

A Forearm Like Popeye’s After This Workout

Taking part in a carnival-styled shoot-out, mimicking the firing of a water gun against rubber duck cutouts, doesn’t sound that testing on paper. However, after only one round of Pirate’s Rampage, dwelling in the heart of Costa del Sol’s shenanigans, your trigger finger will be begging for mercy.

Aiming to beat a variety of high scores by downing cutouts of treasure wearing different three-digit numbers, this simple but effective mini-game has smooth controls for precise accuracy, and you can even catch the Stamp mascot in some cages. The aesthetic and contest of this entry bumps it up in the ranking over the Polygon punch out.

4Galactic Saviors

A Classic, Interstellar Button-Smasher

Taking gameplay back to basics now with gratifying sci-fi shoot-em’-up challenges in Galactic Saviors. Riffing off the premise ofGalagaand appealing to a majority of arcade gamers, Cloud can report to the Space Ranger of the Gold Saucer to take part in this colorful shooter to down some enemy ships.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Best Parade Formation

After recruiting each member, Cloud will have access to the Seventh Infantry’s Best Formations; here’s what they are.

Even though the group of children around this amusement takes some of the joy away, Galactic Savior is mesmerizing in its design and easy to control, with a flurry of laser bullets flying in all directions. Strangely, your trigger finger doesn’t get as tired in this mini-game compared to Pirate’s Rampage, but the starry setting gives this entry a higher ranking.

3Fort Condor

A Genius Adaptation Of The Original

The Square Enix developers deserve a medal for adapting what was a frustrating game in the original Final Fantasy 7 into an absolute joy in Rebirth. This reimagining debuted in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake DLC, INTERmission, but the sequel’s mini-game features more Polygon figures as a bonus.

Cloud, Tifa, and Barret get transformed into exquisite figures within this vibrant strategy game where you need to defeat the Warlord and his flank - which also includes Wyverns and Archfiends - in a certain number of steps within an allotted timeframe. Accompanied by a modernized version of the original mini-game music that’s extremely addictive, Fort Condor deserves a third place for being one of the best mini-features in Rebirth.

2Queen’s Blood

Fans Need A Real-Life Release

This tabletop card game was introduced at the very start of Rebirth in Kalm, and players were instantly hooked by its musical theme, card art, and elaborate strategies. Thinking ahead to plan where your next pin or Fat Chocobo is going to be placed before your opponent is highly compelling.

Similar to the addictive qualities inFinal Fantasy 14’sTriple Triad card game, Queen’s Blood has taken the gaming world by storm and fans can only hope a real gamewill bes made out of it. For its sheer popularity, ingenuity, and set design, Queen’s Blood takes second place and boasts more replayability than Fort Condor.

The Best Fun With The Beasts Of Final Fantasy

It may surprise you not to see Queen’s Blood in first place, but the crown has to go to Costa del Sol’s Run Wild, which sees Red XIII get in on some mini-game action. Channeling the air ofRocket Leaguewith giant balls being passed around a small field, Red XIII must defend his goal and try to score in the other beasts’ goals before time runs out.

Playing against the Blue, Black, and Yellow teams—including a Chocobo that delivers a punch of guilt whenever you hit it with the ball—the summer vibes in this mini-game, mixed with the accessible controls and the competitiveness of Fifa, deliver the most satisfying game in Rebirth—with a little bit of chaos mixed in when more balls get added. It’s also great to see the Cosmo Canyon lion have some fun.
