The officialFinal Fantasy 14website has outlined some of the changes in the 7.1 patch, which is set to launch on November 12. These include the game-changing the intro cutscene to match the player’s progression.

“The game logo and opening movie displayed when launching the game will now change according to player progression through the main scenario.”

This means that a fresh player will receive the A Realm Reborn cutscene, gradually unlocking the others as they continue through the Main Scenario.
