“A series centered around Monica Rambeau (Photon) was reportedly in the works at Marvel Studios but following ‘THE MARVELS’ reception, it was axed. Her story will now continue in another project.”

Interestingly, the character has previously received her own solo comic book story. Written by Eve L. Ewing and illustrated by Michael Sta. Maria,Monica Rambeau: Photonis a limited five-issue series that brings an in-depth understanding of the hero.

The writer also remarked that the comic book series highlighted Rambeau’s cosmic abilities and her daily struggles in life.
