Koyoharu Gotouge’sDemon Slayermanga was blessed when Ufotable decided to take it on and adapt it into an anime series. There was no other studio that would have perfectly managed to bring the essence of theDemon Slayerstoryline, especially the aspects of the Taisho Era in Japan, to an anime series and take it all the way to the top.

While the anime only started in 2019, it still managed to become one of the greatest series of all time, with the franchise breaking multiple records with projects like the Mugen Train film and the Entertainment District arc. The visualization and the animation quality produced by Ufotable forDemon Slayerare the reasons behind the success of the series.
However, despite having top-notch animation, the one aspect where Ufotable has not been able to prove itself is the trailers of the differentDemon Slayerseries. The general opinion amongDemon Slayerfans is that Ufotable sucks at making trailers for their upcoming movies and series, with the recent trailer for the Infinity Castle movie being the perfect example.

Ufotable’s biggest drawback withDemon Slayer
Over the course of 5 years, Ufotable has managed to drop banger after banger whenever it came toDemon Slayer. The production studio hasput its heart and soul into the projectand has managed to take it to the top in such a short amount of time. And now the series has officially entered the Final Battle saga, which contains the Infinity Castle Arc and the Sunrise Countdown Arc.

The two arcs serve as the conclusion of theDemon Slayerstoryline, and fans have been waiting for them to get adapted for quite some time. Finally, a few months ago, Ufotable announced that it is coming up with the newDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castlemovie that is scheduled to be released in September 2025.
And to make the announcement official, Crunchyroll and Sony Entertainment released teasers and trailers for the upcoming movie. However, one of the trailers didn’t get the response that the creators had hoped.

Some fans even went to the length of calling it fan-made, as the trailer didn’t offer much insight into the upcoming story that will be adapted.
Ufotable’sDemon Slayertrailers do not do justice to the anime
While the animation quality of theDemon Slayeranime series has been marveloussince the beginning, their trailers and teasers have always been hated by the fans. This is because most of them use instances and moments from previous projects that are not as exciting as glimpses of the upcoming movie or series.
Recently, Sony Entertainment shared a special “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle | Crow Reveal Video” on YouTube, and it made its way to X, where fans shared their opinions about it.

Ufotable sucks at making Trailers, so this could be real. But this shit looks more like an AMV than a Trailer

While some called it fan-made, others targeted Ufotable and questioned their abilities to create teasers and trailers for one of their biggest projects.

Trailers and teasers hold a lot of significance as they help promote upcoming series and movies. Considering the fact that theDemon Slayeranime has entered its final saga, it desperately needs a better trailer to do justice to the upcoming story.
