Elden Ring’s incantations range from healing your allies to throwing massive lightning bolts at your enemies. From Software even took it a step further by giving players the ability to summon an aspect of a massive dragon to use their abilities as their own.

These dragon incantationsrequire faith and arcaneand are more than worth the point investments. By finding and defeating field bosses, you can use their hearts to unlock their special abilities to use as your own. Simpler versions of these incantations do exist and require less effort to obtain, but should you seek out and defeat the more unique dragons, you’ll berewarded with much stronger breath-based attacks. One of these unique breath attacks is Magma Breath, which can leave magma on the battlefield to further damage enemies.
Where To Find Magma Breath
To unlock Magma Breath, players will first need tofind and defeat the Magma Wyrm near Mt. Gelmir. To find this Wyrm, start fromthe Seethewater Terminus site of grace. From this site of grace, head south towards the massive magma pool, where the Magma Wyrm will climb out of, and the boss battle will begin. This Magma Wyrm carries a giant flaming sword for melee attacks and spawns within a pool of lava. It can beled outside the lava, but its Magma Breath attack can further spread magma to new areas, limiting your maneuverability.Ranged attacks while riding Torrentwill be your best bet, allowing you to stay outside of its melee range and reposition away from new magma quickly.
After defeating the Magma Wyrm, head to the Dragon Communion Alter. Magma Breath willrequire one dragon heart to trade, but you will also obtain one for beating the Magma Wyrm. Should you have already used that dragon heart, anyother dragon field bosswillalso drop a heartupon being defeated.

How To Use Magma Breath
Magma Breathrequires 14 faith and 10 arcaneto memorize, and30 FP to cast.These low requirements make it a viable option for most builds, even if you don’t focus on faith. This breath attack will damage enemies on contact while alsoleaving behind pools of magmathat will continue to damage enemies that step into it. While casting this, the player cannot move but can pivot to face a different direction.
This spell has a long cast time, but if timed correctly, it can do high amounts of damage to slower-moving enemies. While the pools of magma may not last very long, this incantation can beused as an enemy who charges forwardto alter the battlefield to your liking. The damage may beminimal in PVP, but this spell isgreat for blocking off doorwaysin PVP with the magma, damaging your enemies, or funneling them in a different direction.
