Where To Find The Church Of Vows
The Church of Vows is located in theeastern part of the Liurnia of the Lakes region, a little ways northeast of theRaya Lucaria Academy. Normally, you would want to make your way to Liurnia of the Lakes afterbeating Godrick the Graftedin Stormveil Castle, but there is ashortcut that allows you to get there faster. Go to the collapsed bridge east of the castle (the one with the Finger Reader) and jump on the small plateau to the left once you reach the end. Simply follow the path through the mountains to circumvent Stormveil Castle and go directly to Liurnia of the Lakes.
From the back entrance of the castle,turn right and start following the road past the Site of Grace. You may want to make a quick stop at the nearby Church of Irith along the way and talk to Thops if you want to starthis quest line. Following the quest eventually rewards you withThops’s Barrierand theEruditiongesture, which is needed tounlock the Converted Fringe Towerand obtain theCannon of Haimasorcery. If you already have those items, go past the church and follow the road down the hill until you reach a bandit camp.
Once you’ve passed the camp,turn right and start making your way down to the lake. Cross the lake to find a Spirit Spring on the other side next to the cliff. Jump on the spring to reachLiurnia Highway South. It is possible to reach the eastern part of Liurnia quicker byjumping down a series of platforms embedded in the cliff below Stormveil Castle; however, that route can easily get you killed if you make a mistake. The longer way around is a safer option, and you’ll probably want to stop by the Church of Irith anyway.
From the Liurnia Highway South Site of Grace,follow the road northuntil you reach theLiurnia Highway North checkpointwhile circumventing the ruins found along the way. From here,take a right and follow the dirt road north once again. There are a bunch of obstacles and enemies along the way - a giant crab and theTibia Marineroptional boss, - but by following the road, you will eventually reach the Carian Study Hall and, past that, the Artist’s Shack.
Cross the stone bridge found behind the shack,and you should already be able to spot the Church of Vows to the northwest, sitting atop a hill. Simply make your way across the field and up the hill, and you’ll be talking to the tortoise pope in no time.
