Dragon’s Dogma 2is the epitome of high fantasy. With trolls, ghouls, wolves, and mystical beasts over every rolling hill, players are hard-pressed not to find themselves in some kind of action while out adventuring. However, there is one creature that can take a bit of hard graft to bring it to its knees and may even call for extreme measures.
Players can find Drakes, huge fire-breathing Dragons, throughoutmany locationsin the game and will need to come prepared when faced with these elite enemy types. Trying to take one of these fierce beasts down with your party alone, especially if not at a high enough level, will most certainly be a challenge and probably end in disaster, but not if you are in control of a Ballista, as one player has found out.
Dragon’s Dogma 2’s Pawn AI Learning Curve Is Its Most Triumphant Achievement
Dragon Dogma’s AI pawns are the best thing I’ve come across in gaming in a very long time!
DanGaming, a popular variety streamer.on YouTube,posted a videoabout how they managed to take on a mighty Drake by using a ballista. While out adventuring, Dan and his pawns happened upon the powerful adversary but, instead of being foolish and trying to fight it with what they were equipped with, which would mean almost certain death, Dan opted to make use of the game’s ancient launcher that shoots spears and sharpened wooden stakes.
Aiming for the dragon’s heart, Dan poisoned the ranged weapon and started to take off huge chunks of the Drake’s HP, almost bringing it to its knees with only 3 shots.
Unfortunately, as the dragon was just about to give up the ghost, it glitched into the ground and to make matters even worse, Dan, moments away from victory, ended up getting electrocuted and dying! All that can be heard at the end of the clip is Dan’s screams as he falls backward off the ballista. Talk about drama and tension!
