Vocations are the class system ofDragon’s Dogma 2and determine the general stats, weapons used, and playstyle of a character. At the beginning of the game, players will get to select between one of four starting Vocations, with others being unlocked later.

How To Complete Vocation Frustration
Both of these Vocations are unlocked in Vernworth,which can be reached early in the game by progressing the main story. In Vernworth,head to the Vocation Guildto unlock or change between the three starting vocations. While talking to Klaus, he will mention that the Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations are currently unavailable as they don’t have the proper weapons and mention thatRoderick may be able to help with the missing shipment.
Roderick is thesmithy of Vernworth and is found back at the market square.Talk to Roderick so he can mark on your map where the missing weapon’s shipment can be found, andmark this quest as Priority.Gather sometravel suppliesand,leave Vernworth from the western exit,and continue heading west to reach the cave that’s marked on the map.
Where To Find The Greatsword
To quickly get the Greatsword, head into the cave andfollow the path to the right when there is a split.In the first opening will be achest along the back wall of where you entered from,opening it will give players theTwo-Handed Greatsword.This is a large two-handed sword, and it may be best to have your main Pawn carry this weapon to keep your encumbrance down.

Where To Find The Archistaff
The Archistaff is found in asmall hidden cave in the far back right room of the cave system.In this larger room, make your way to thelowest floor and look for the fire on the ground.Right past it will be the small cave thattakes players to B1F of the cave system,with the chest within giving player the Archistaff Grievous Horus.
Unlocking The Warrior & Sorcerer
With either one orboth weaponsin hand,return to Klaus at the Vocation Guild.Giving him theGreatsword will open up the Warrior Vocationwhile giving theArchistaff will open up the Sorcerer Vocation.Players will still need to unlock the Vocations,each of which costs 150 DCP. Using your DCP to unlock a Vocation will receive all the associated gear, so be ready with some extra baggage space before unlocking them.
