Dragon’s Dogma 2
How To Cook For Your Party
If you want to whip up some food for your party, you’ll need to set up camp.Once you have your camp, you’ll see the option to cook near the fire. When you open up the menu, you’ll be presented with the raw food options you have in your inventory. You can then decide which piece of meat you want to cook.Once you select the food you wish to cook, you’ll be shown a video of your meat cooking over the campfire.
You can only cook while at a campfire, and you can only cook one item. So, you won’t be able to cook batches of food to hang onto for later.

Cooking Buffs Your Party
Different foods come with different buffs for the party. Furthermore, food can change over the course of time. A prime piece of Scrag Meat can become rotten.Cooking the rotten food will still allow your party to eat it without getting sick, but the buff to your party will be minimal.Since food can go rotten, it’s always worth giving your party the best food with the highest buff. Saving your best food for later comes with the risk of it going rotten.
While cooking rotten food allows you to eat it, you will only gain a slight buff. Both cooked and raw food items, like rotten apples, will often heal you with the caveat that you gain the blighted debilitation. If you choose to do this, make sure you knowhow to cure blighted.

All Cooking Buffs
When cooking for your party, you’ll have your choice of eight different kinds of meat. Each type of meat can provide bonuses to Defense, Stamina, Strength, and Recovery.Make note of the fact that you may only cook once every time you make camp, so you won’t be able to stack these bonuses by cooking more meals.

You’ll often get meat from killing animal enemies like wolves. However, you can also get meat by attacking non-hostile creatures like oxen and deer. So, if you’re about to make camp and don’t have any meat, look around for some opportunities to hunt.
