Out in the middle of the desert of Battahl is the major city of Bakbattahl, consisting of multiple districts and a large palace. While some of the things players can do here are tied to the main story, there are even more shops and side quests players should check out upon arriving here.

Upon entering Bakbattahl, through themain road will be Pilgrim’s Inn - Flagship, a very expensive Innplayers should pass over. In thesoutheastern corner of the town is Pilgrim’s Inn,which is a much more affordable place to spend the night.Awaran’s Arms is found in the merchant’s districtand sells weapons, withBodas’s Armory right next doorselling armor. Both of these shops enhance gear withBattahli forging.
Isaac’s Wares can be found next to the armoryand sells are sorts of travel goods and consumables, with theBakbattahl Vocation Guild being up the stairs just past that to change up your Vocationorunlock the Trickster Vocation.There is the Bakbattahl Oxcart Station, but this won’t be up and running upon a player’s first visit.
In thenorthern district of the town will be the Grand Riftstone of Battahl,where the merchant whosells dyescan also be found. There is noPortcrystal in Bakbattahl,but placing one here is a must. Players can alsofind and purchase a house within this town,which is a great central location to call home compared to the rest of the map. The Flamebearer Palace can also be visited, but will be more tied to quests without much to see and do inside otherwise.

Every Side Quest In Bakbattahl
Upon arriving in Bakbattahl, players can walk past Pilgrim’s Inn tofindRogerand complete Welcome To Battahl.Speaking to Akakios in the merchant district will begin ‘Twixt a Rock and a Hard Place. Visiting Brokkr’s Smithy in the southwestern corner of townafter completingDulled Steel, Cold Forgewill unlock the questSteeled Resolve, Blazing Forge,which results in Brokkr’s Smithy opening up after completion of his quest.
Isaac from Isaac’s Wares will give players theShort-Sighted Ambitionquest upon first visiting his shop.During the Nation of Lambent Flame main quest, players can also begin theShadowed Prayers side quest from Menella.WhileMercy Among Thieveshasn’t begun in town, thefollow-up quest Off The Pilfered Path starts when talking to a guard approaching the Arisen.
For those trying tounlock the Warfarer Vocation,Newt Liquor is easily found and purchased within Bakbattahl. For those who place a port crystal here in town, be sure to stock up onFerrystonesto be able to travel back and forth.
