Dragon Ball DAIMAenters a new realm that fans have been wanting to explore since the beginning of time. While Bulma takes 10 days to fix Supreme Kai’s ship, Goku and Shin dive into the Demon Realm with the help of Glorio to rescue Dende and use the Dragon Balls to wish back their original bodies. While the new lore, funny gags, and Goku’s Super Saiyan transformation do make the series interesting, fans desperately await for the rest of the gang to join them.
Episode 5 ofDAIMAadds Panzy to the group as they travel the 3rd world of the Demon Realm, but where’s Vegeta and Piccolo? From the trailers, and the opening and ending theme songs, fans know that Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo will join Goku and Shin in their journey, but when will that happen? Well, Episode 5 gives a hint on that very notion!
The current problem withDragon Ball DAIMA
Fans have gone through 3 episodes of Goku, Shin, and Glorio exploring the Demon Realm, and they’re already kind of bored. The first 2 episodes dropped a lot of information regarding the Namekians, Shin’s species and the history of the Dragon Balls, making fans glued to the screen, eagerly awaiting what new loreAkira Toriyamawould reveal next. But after Goku and Shin entered the Demon Realm, it turned out to be sort of likeDragon Ball GT‘s 1st arc.
Goku and Shin are seen as fugitives by the inhabitants because Goku doesn’t have pointy ears and his strength surpasses everyone in the 3rd world so far. He fights several opponents but they’re merely training exercises to help hone his body. So far, there has been no high-stakes battle that Goku has encountered yet. Even the much anticipated appearance of King Kadan didn’t work out well as his henchmen weren’t even a challenge to Goku’s Super Saiyan form.

However, Episode 5 ofDAIMAteases the return of Vegeta and Piccolo. As Goku’s party takes the next step in their adventure, King Kadan sends one of his underlings, Hybis, to meet with those left behind at Kami’s Lookout. Vegeta and Piccolo’s return to the screen suggests that there is much more in store for Goku and Shin than they might have initially anticipated. The stakes they face in the Demon Realm could be set to climb in unexpected ways within the next few episodes.
Vegeta’s development inDragon Ball DAIMAwill surprise everyone
Whenever Goku and Vegeta unite in a Dragon Ball saga, there’s a strong foe lurking in the shadows awaiting to challenge them. From the opening and ending themes, Goku and Vegeta will face the Tamagamis guarding the Dragon Balls and they will summon the Demon Realm Dragon Balls to make a wish. However, who exactly will end up making the wish remains a mystery.
Episode 3 ofDragon Ball DAIMAheavily teases the return of fusion, wherein Goku purchases 2 pieces of Join Bugs. The franchise has introduced two ways to fuse: the Metamorise fusion dance and the Potara Earing. ButDAIMAnow introduces this new kind of fusion, separate from the Potara and Fusion dance, that basically combines each of their properties.
The Demon Oozaru Form: New Saiyan Transformation That Can Potentially Surpass Ultra Instinct Has Already Been Revealed in Dragon Ball Theory
The Fusion dance lasts for 30 minutes while the Potara multiplies the base stats of the two users and can defuse either by the gas in Majin Buu’s body, or it would just last for an hour or less, if the user isn’t a Supreme Kai. The shopkeeper says it would last for a while, making its duration and power a suspense until fans witness it. But there’s a chance this new fusion could be stronger than both Vegito and Gogeta.
Furthermore, it is leaked thatVegeta will finally transform into a Super Saiyan 3and even surpass Goku, overcoming the form’s stamina issues. Fans have only seen Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta in video games and in the Super Dragon Ball Heroesanime,so it’ll be exciting to see how the Prince of all Saiyans will wield the transformation in canon material.
