This three-issue limited series was unveiled just ahead of New York Comic-Con, and we know the first issue is set to arrive on July 05, 2025.Dragon Age: Blue Wraithis being written by Nunzio DeFilippis, who you may know for their work onNew X-MenandDragon Age: Knight Errant, as well as Christina Weir, who has worked onDragon Age: DeceptionandNew X-Men.Meanwhile, God is Dead’sFernando Heinz Furukawa will beDragon Age: Blue Wraith’sartist, with Michael Atiyeh and Sachin Teng contributing as the colorist and cover artist, respectively.

Dragon Age: Inquisitionfans should also be excited about this new comic series as it directly follows up that game and prominently features Fenris. The comic’s official description reads “Dragon Age: Blue Wraith starts off with the fanatical Qunari seeking to topple the Tevinter mageocracy. Caught in the middle, one powerful young mage’s desperate search for her father brings her face-to-face with a notorious mage hunter—Fenris, the Blue Wraith.”

Though it remains to be seen how muchDragon Age: Inquisition, or even this comic, will tie into the nextDragon Agegame, it does seem to be a cool new piece of media for fans of the franchise to sink their teeth into while we wait for the next game to be unveiled and released.Dragon Age: Blue Wraithbegins on August 22, 2025, and Dark Horse says it should already be available for pre-order at comic book shops.
