Mike Heslin, who played Polo, alongside Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña inSpecial Ops: Lionesshas died. Heslin’s husband, Nicolas James Wilson, shared the news via his Instagram page. The actor died at the age of 30 on Tuesday, July 2, from an unexpected cardiac event.
Heslin was also part of several other projects includingThe Holiday Proposal Plan,Younger,The Influencers,7 Deadly Sins, andYou are Never Alone. However, his most prominent role was in Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ series.

Mike Heslin, who appeared on two episodes of Season 1 ofSpecial Ops: Lioness, passed away at the age of 30. The news was shared by Heslin’s husband Nicolas James Wilson, who goes by the name Scotty Dynamo onInstagram. Wilson shared that Heslin came down with“an unexpected cardiac event”and passed away after“a week long battle in the hospital”.

Wilson wrote on Instagram that Heslin was in perfect health condition and they had little clue about what happened. He shared,“The doctors have no explanation for what happened.”Wilson shared that Heslin helped him through multiple rounds of cancer and was a“real-life guardian angel”.
Wilson further revealed in the post that they were planning to start a family and were discussing baby names for their future kids. He shared that Heslin always wanted to be a father and agreed that he would’ve been the most perfect father. Wilson shared:
Just a week ago, we were in the early stages of starting a family and would regularly share our favorite baby names for our future kids. You always told me that you felt like you were meant to be a dad, and I couldn’t agree more.You would be the world’s most perfect father. If I ever become a dad, I am going to name my son after you and hope that I manage to raise him to become at least half the man you are.
Wilson added that Heslin was a donor and he gave the“gift of life”to four different families. He shared that Heslin was just“3 weeks away from [his] birthday”and“4 months shy of [their] 1 year wedding anniversary.”Wilson concluded his post with the words from singer-songwriter Shania Twain:“I’ll love you ‘forever and for always.'”
