There are many ways to ensure customers buy more items when visiting Discounty, including having the right store setup, making specific items seem more enticing, advertising the store around town, and more.

Expand Your Inventory
The most straightforward way to get customers to buy more items in Discounty is byexpanding your inventory. This can be done bycompleting Discounty Challengeson the computer in the back of the store.
Discounty Challenges are small objectives, such as selling 7 Boney Herrings, cleaning 2 dirt piles, selling 10 apples, etc. Completing these challenges willearn you points, which you can then spend to expand your inventoryand add new food items to the store.
The more food items you unlock, the longer the customers' shopping lists will become. This leads to each customer purchasing more, resulting in you earning more money on every shift.
Purchase Boosters from Isenkram’s Hardware
Another way to increase the amount of items customers purchase in Discounty is byadding boosters to your store. Boosters can be placed next to food items, increasing their appeal and making customers want to purchase more of them.
Boosterscan be purchased at Isenkram’s Hardware in town, usually costing around 125 or 250 Shills. Each booster works for a specific food, so it’s important that you place them down next to the food that the booster is compatible with.
For example, the Household Booster increases the sales of household products such as shampoo, so you’ll want toplace this next to a shelf that has shampoo on it. On the other hand, the Seafood Booster increases the sales of any seafood, so verify to place this next to shelves with fish.
If you don’t place the Boosters next to the correct items, then they won’t work. You’ll know a Booster is working if the food items havesmall green plus signs.
Placing boosted items right inside the front door is a great way to get impulse buys from your customers. Every customer will have to walk by these items, making them more likely to add them to their shopping lists on a whim.
Print and Hang Fliers Around Town
Fliers won’t make each customer purchase more items at Discounty, they will, however,bring in more customers each day. This results in more items getting sold each shift.
Keep in mind thateach flier takes 8 in-game hours to complete before upgrading the printer,so you may have to return to the print shop the next day to receive them.
Once you have your fliers, make your way to the town’s billboards and select the option to hang them up. Hanging up multiple fliers will lead to a ton of customers visiting Discounty and purchasing more items, turning your store intothe best shop around.
