Yuta Okkotsu’s Claim To Kill Yuji Itadori

As shown inJujutsu Kaisen0, Yuta Okkotsu was once a special-grade cursed human who was haunted by Rika Orimoto, a friend from his late childhood. Following the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, Gojo dispatched Yuta to train under Miguel in Africa. Following the events of the Shibuya Incident arc, which destabilized both the sorcerer and human worlds, he returns to Japan.

With the quickness of a knight in shining armor, Yuta breaks into the scene and uses his sword to save a girl from a Curse. Later, Yuta meets with Jujutsu High’s officials and assures them that he will be the one to kill Yuji Itadori because it was due to him that one of his allies, Toge Inumaki, lost his arm.

Consequently, Yuta decided to carry out Yuji’s execution to save his life. In the manga, Yuta fights Yuji during his Extermination arc. Despite his best efforts, Yuji is unable to defeat a sorcerer of a higher rank than him. To fulfill the conditions of the Binding Vow, Yuta briefly kills Yuji.
