Zohakuten, exuding an ominous aura befitting an Upper Moon Demon, easily outranks his fellow demons in terms of power. Unveiled as the fusion of Aizetsu, Urogi, Karaku, and Sekido, his appearance alone sends shivers down the spine. As the storyline unfolds, fans can only speculate on the gripping encounters and chilling battles that lie ahead in the ever-unfolding saga of Demon Slayer.
What Happened In The Recent Episode Of Demon Slayer?
After finally realizing that in order to defeat Hantengu, his main body needs to be found and beheaded, Tanjiro and Genya work relentlessly to find his actual body, which is now the size of a mouse but surprisingly fast. As Tanjiro attacks Hantengu’s neck and is trying to behead him, he senses some sinister aura behind him, which is a mixture of anger, pleasure, sorrow, and joy. On the other hand, he couldn’t sense the other four demons. Tanjiro knew that something more sinister is coming his way; however, he continues with his attempt to behead Hantengu. But, soon, he finds Zohakuten standing behind him and faces a powerful attack at the hands of the new demon.
A mere stare from Zohakuten’s evil eyes was enough to ache Tanjiro’s heart and surround the place with a sinister aura, while Genya felt like it was unable for him to move. While Tanjiro was fed up wondering how many more of Hantengu’s manifestations were yet to be revealed, Genya remembered that the guy in front of them was Sekido a moment ago. He transformed himself into Zohakuten by absorbing the other four Demons.

Surprisingly, Zohakuten is just a child; however, he is far superior in strength compared to the other manifestations. But the reason is simple; he has the combined abilities of all four manifestations. Although he looks similar to the previous Demons, there’s a small change in his appearance, most notably the set of drums behind his back, which he beat to summon powerful attacks.
What Are Zohakuten’s Abilities?
As he is the fusion of the other demons, Zohakuten can use the Blood Demon Art of Urogi, Aizetsu, Karaku, and Sekido, but at a much more intense level. On top of that, he has the ability to manipulate wood, which he maneuvered in the recent episode. If it wasn’t for Nezuko, Tanjiro would’ve been slain by the wooden dragons of Zohakuten. While more of his abilities are yet to be revealed, one thing is for sure that Zohakuten is going to give a hard time to our beloved demon slayers.
