As such, CyberConnect2 explained on Twitter the battle system ofKimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan.
Hiroshi Matsuyama, CEO of CyberConnect2, explained there are no 2 Vs 2 battles inKimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan. He also confirmed there is no four player multiplayer in the game. Be it offline or online.

Hiroshi Matsuyama :“I’m saying this just in case, but you pick two characters you like, but switch between them during battle. This is a 1 Vs 1 battle action game. The story mode has many 1 Vs 1 situations like in the original manga and anime.”
In the following tweet, Matsuyama adds:

Moreover, thinking about it, the termTag Battleis definitely used this way in gaming and Japanese games. It all makes sense now.
