Over the last few weeks, you may have been spending your time in Hideo Kojima’s apocalypticDeath Strandingtaking pictures of the vast wildness of Knots now thatphoto modehas been implemented on the PS4. Given how beautiful (and horrifying)Death Stranding’s world is, it’s no surprise that players craved this mode for so long and it’s just a pity it took so long to get here, but sometimes you don’t always need a photograph to capture a moment, especially so when you can draw as good as Reddit’su/LilPooswho has artistically reproduced Fragile in an emotional drawing.
Zlata Bagirova, otherwise known asLilPoos on Reddit, is an Illustrator from Moscow, Russia who took to Reddit to show off their latestDeath Strandingart, and naturally, people loved it. Having already gained 1K upvotes and many comments exclaiming how brilliant the drawing is, it’s clear that Fragile is close to everyone’s hearts. Even if you haven’t yet played the game, there’s something immediately captivating about Fragile’s face and attire that draws people to her making her an obvious choice for artists. Zlata stated that Fragile’s jacket was the hardest part of the drawing, taking a really long time to complete and we can see why. Each wrinkle and stud in the jacket is meticulously detailed, not to mention how well Zlata completed Fragile’s windswept hair. I think, for me at least, the most stunning part ofZlata’s artis how well they illustrated Fragile’s emotion, sketching a single tear rolling down her cheek in line with her distant gaze into the beyond.

Death Strandinglaunched forPS4on November 8th, 2019 and is due outon PC in June 2nd. Preorders for the latter have already gone live on bothSteam and Epic Games Store.
