Death Stranding 2: On the Beachis all about transporting cargo across a large map and rebuilding the world. While some cargo will be very simple to transport, there are times when you’ll have to carry cargo that exceeds Sam’s carrying capacity.
If you carry too much weight on Sam’s back, he will move incredibly slowly and stamina will deplete much quicker. This can lead to deliveries taking much longer than they should. Luckily, the game provides tons of ways to deal with these situations.

Death Stranding 2: How To Unlock The Music Player
Took them long enough to add it.
In this guide, we discuss all the ways to deal with overweight cargo in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. After reading, you won’t have to worry about exceeding Sam’s weight limit ever again.
One of the best ways to transport heavy cargo is byadding it to vehicles.I recommend using the Pickup Off-Roaderover the Tri-Cruiser, mainly because it can hold more weight and is easier to drive over hills and rivers.

The only downside of loading a vehicle with cargo is that vehicles run out of batteries fairly quickly. It’s important to plan your route accordingly by stopping at facilities on the way to your delivery point to recharge the battery. Or, you can bring a PCC Lv 1 to build a generator.
10 Best Semi-Open World Games
For players who want to explore, but not be overwhelmed by a world larger than the story.
The last thing you want to happen is for your vehicle to run out of batteries, and you are left with cargo that Sam can’t carry. However, the equipment in the following section can help with these scenarios.

Floating Carriers
One of the most useful tools inDeath Stranding 2: On the Beachis a Floating Carrier. These tools arecarts that can hold up to 300 KGand attach to Sam’s back to transport the heavy cargo easily. There’s even alevel 2 version that can hold up to 900 KG.
Players unlock the Floating Carrier afterconnecting West Fort Knotto the Chiral Network, while level 2 becomes available in the second half of the game. However, level 1 Floating Carriers are good enough to last the entire game in most instances.

Players can craft Floating Carriers at any facility in the game after joining them to the Chiral Network. It requires 100 Resins and 100 Metals.

Keep in mind that there aresome limitations when using Floating Carriers. For starters, they can’t go up ladders that have a 60-degree angle or above. Additionally, Climbing Anchors can’t hold more than one Floating Carrier while grappling.
Next, we have Skeletons to help with carrying heavy cargo in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. These tools can beequipped to Sam’s legsand increase his maximumcarrying capacity, allowing you to add heavier cargo to his backpack.
Even better, Skeletons add additional benefits. Some can help with combat and others make it easier to maneuver through the rocky environment. They even allow Sam to run faster.
8 Highly Reviewed Open World Games That Are Overrated
Just because these open world games got good reviews at launch doesn’t mean they’re good.
Just like vehicles, Skeletons have a battery andmust be recharged.you may easily recharge them the same way as vehicles, through generators and visiting facilities.
As you progress throughthe main story of Death Stranding 2,you’ll unlock more Skeletons with higher weight limit capacities. Make sure to equip one before each delivery, especially those that require carrying heavy cargo, and you’ll make the route much easier.
The Monorail
Lastly, you can transport heavy cargo with the monorail system. However, this requires a ton of work in order to make it a reliable form of transportation.
For example, players need to expand the Monorail by adding materials to Tracklayers, black structures found on the ground below the monorail system. Otherwise, the monorail won’t go to many locations, making it pretty worthless for transporting cargo.
I only recommend using the monorail if you have successfully expanded it through Tracklayers. Just make sure to bring a Floater to complete the rest of the trip after getting off the monorail.
