Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima’s 1998 classic, got a hilarious review featuring David Hayter, Solid Snake’s voice, courtesy of Ricky Berwick. The “not so normal video entertainer” had a special treat forMetal Gearfans as Solid Snake made an appearance.
Ricky Berwick is a Canada-based vlogger who has been diagnosed with Beals-Hecht Syndrome, an incredibly rare genetic disorder. He is famous for his comedy skits and appearances on comedy shows.
Metal Gearfans are truly having a good time with the franchise with at least two more games in the pipeline, although no official release windows have been confirmed yet.
Rickey Berwick Gets Snarky With Solid Snake
Ricky Berwick has made a name with his unabashedly-in-your-face brand of comedy that has gained a solid fanbase. Now, in arecently posted video on X, he can be seen getting snarky with Solid Snake. And about whom? None other than Mei Lung.
Ricky Berwick can be seen playingMetal Geara lot and his videos feature characters like Special Snake and Mantis. His latest video however blew up to a whole new level as it featured the man David Hayter himself. In his iconic Solid Snake voice, he can be heard congratulating Ricky regarding the review ofMetal Gear Solid.

However, when asked about Mei Ling, Ricky can be heard blowing him off saying he is “kinda busy” while Mei Ling’s voice can be heard in the background saying,

Solid Snake, in his deep baritone then says the titular expression. And he promises that Ricky has only won for now. This means we can look forward to such videos in the future too. Especially with theMetal Gear Solid 3 Remakealready announced. AndDavid Hayter has also returned to the franchise.
Metal Gear Solid 6 Remains Uncertain
Developers Hideo Kojima and publishers Konami are no longer working together. So, the prospect of a Hideo Kojima game looks pretty slim. Especially since Konami owns the IP. But this hasn’t stopped fans from expectingMetal Gear Solid 6,with discussions in the community forums frequently turning to it.
