Night City is a dangerous place inCyberpunk 2077, but that doesn’t mean that you should be walking around with your weapon out and waving around. In fact, if you are wandering around the city with yourweaponout,you will likely be seen as a threateventually and have the police on your tail fast.

The issue is thatit’s kind of confusing to figure outhow to holster your weapon. You may be trying a whole bunch of different buttons, which can only lead to you accidentally doing something even worse than just having your weapon out in the first place. So it is highly important that you learn how to holster your weapon as soon as you’re able to.
How To Holster Your Weapon
There are two ways that you can holster your weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, and both of them involve using the button you use to swap your weaponsduring gameplay.
Double-Tap Swap Button
The first — and easiest — method isto double-tap this button. Doing so will automatically have your V put their weapon away and holster it without interrupting the flow of gameplay. V will just lower the gun from the screen, and that will be that. This is the option you will most likely be using the most.
Use The Weapon Wheel
However, there is another option, and it has youpressing and holding the same buttonto bring up the weapon wheel. On this wheel, you will see a ton of different options for your weapons and more. On the right side of the wheel, underneath your third weapon, you will see an icon of apistol with a line crossing it out.
Select this option, and V will put their weapon away. While it isn’t as quick or easy of an option as the double-tap, it can be a useful tool toslow time in the middle of a battleto get your bearings again or collect yourself. It may not seem like a huge advantage, but there is a lot of usefulness to doing it that you can find out for yourself.
