Following itsunveiling back in 2018, EA today has announced when it will be finally be releasing theCommand & Conquer Remastered Collectionon PC.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collectionwill be officially arriving later this summer on July 31, 2025. The collection containsCommand & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn,Command & Conquer: Red Alert, and three expansion packs in the way ofCovert Ops,Counterstrike, andThe Aftermath. Furthermore, the bundle will be made available not only on EA’s Origin platform, but also on Steam. All of the games in this collection have been rebuilt to now boast 4K visuals and now also include requested features from the community such as an overhauled UI, a Map Editor, and new control schemes.
“Our team has been working hand-in-hand with theC&Ccommunity since day one and we hope this transparent dialogue will result in theCommand & Conquer Remastered Collectionbeing a love letter to our fans,” Jim Vessella, Lead Producer at EA said of today’s release date announcement for the package. “We’re taking the classic gameplay that ushered in a new era of the RTS genre and adding the most fan requested features like Skirmish mode forTiberian Dawn, quality of life control improvements, and full Steam integration with UGC support. For me personally, having been aC&Cfan since I was 12 years old in 1995, working with the original Westwood Studios team members at Petroglyph has been a dream come true.”
Pre-orders forCommand & Conquer Remastered Collectionalso go live today and the game is being released in three separate iterations. The baseline digital version will be available solely for $19.99 and will include everything that has already been mentioned. Through Limited Run Games, aSpecial EditionandCollector’s Editionwill also be made available for purchase. These two versions will cost $59.99 and $149.99 respectively and will include additional goodies such as a Tiberium crystal USB drive, the remastered soundtrack, a poster, sticker sheet, and four enamel pins. For the Collector’s Edition alone, you’ll also get a soundtrack signed by composer Frank Klepacki, an art book, a beanie, and a metal mammoth tank replica, among other items.
