Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2is set to be released later this year and the gaming community is excited to see what the game developers have worked on. The game industry has evolved and the players know what kind of game they want, which makes it a challenge for the developers.

Saber Interactive does not shy away from a challenge but it encourages it to think outside the box and get creative. The developers took inspiration from other successful video games, which could work in their favor if they could properly and respectfully execute this idea.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Developers Could Take Notes From Arrowhead Game Studios
Despite being let go by Embracer Group, all projects ofSaber Interactivehave not been compromised.Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2is still good to goin the initial release window and the game developers sat down and spoke about the upcoming game modes in a recent interview withGame Rant.
The key difference is that PvP modes need to be highly replayable. Players will play the story campaign once, maybe twice. They will be very happy and move on. With PvP, it is very important to keep it fresh. Replayability comes from the fact that you are playing with and against different humans each time across the three types– Annihilation, Seize Ground, and Capture & Control.

But with Operations mode, it’s much more complicated. That’s why we want to make sure to include as many procedural elements as we can.
Dmitry Grigorenko is the lead game designer of the project and spoke about the ambitious Operations game mode and how the gaming community would assume it will have a similar level of attention to detail toHelldivers 2.

“Radiation levels at completely safe levels…”: Helldivers 2 Major Order Promises a Development of Star Wars Proportions if Players Can Just Manage to Complete It
The developers will need to think of new ideas to keep the gaming community interested which will take a great amount of effort. It will only be a matter of time before Saber Interactive will face the same problems that Arrowhead Game Studios is having.
Helldivers 2 Could Be Used as a Blueprint on How to Maintain an Ambitious Live Service Game
The developers often run into avoidable problems like being plum out of creativity. The gaming community would notice that the incentives in the game mean very little after failing to addressthe maximum capacityfor the in-game currency.
“Not even close”: Helldivers 2’s New CEO May Not be as Good at the Game as the CCO Johan Pilestedt, and Surprisingly That’s a Good Thing
There is no escaping this problem and the gaming community needs to bear with the developers to create new content that could appeal to it. The developers will take a good chunk of their time thinking of what kind of activities the Operations mode could feature and maintain a high player count.
Players will spend hours on a game and will grow to resent it if it will always stays the same. Saber Interactive must find solutions to spice up the player experience and avoid being left in the dust.

Arrowhead Game Studios did not have a smooth journey but made it work. Perhaps Saber Interactive could observe how it worked and make some creative compromises.
