What Happened Previously On Bungo Stray Dogs?
After an explosion similar to the one in the Sky Casino, the United States declared a state of emergency. While watching the tragic news, Kunikida was visited by Jono, who tried to recruit him to the Hunting Dogs and questioned the Agency’s involvement in terrorist acts. Kunikida firmly refused, knowing he would lose his ability due to his amputated hands.
On the other hand, Lucy’s team discussed their failed operation, and Atsushi believed there might be another way to solve their dilemma but fainted midway. Jono gave Kunikida time to reconsider, revealing Yosano’s impending execution. Sigma woke up to Gogol, who had saved him, but questioned why Gogol faked his death during the hostage situation.
Gogol revealed his intention to die. He remembered being understood only by Dostoevsky, his true friend. Gogol decided to kill Dostoevsky to free himself from emotions. He then asked Sigma to read Dostoevsky’s ability, meanwhile, Atsushi woke up, knowing Kamui held the page. The group discussed locating Kamui, but Atsushi sensed an assassination operation against the Agency members. Katai, being held for his ties to the Agency, vanished after finding a mysterious phone in his room.
Kamui and their companion escorted Fukuzawa to a rooftop, where he suspected they might throw him off. He boldly revealed that he knew their identities. Meanwhile, Dazai assured Dostoevsky that the strongest man in the Agency, Ranpo, had successfully saved Kunikida, and the others. On the rooftop, Ranpo unveiled himself as the gas mask-wearer, sharing how he outwitted the police and rescued the others. In the assembly hall, Ranpo proved the Agency’s innocence with evidence, causing chaos. He urged everyone to reconsider their assumptions about Ranpo as a terrorist.
