Episode 18 of Blue Lock will see the continuation of the three-on-three match between Team Red and Team White. While fans are looking forward to the results of the ongoing match, many are also eager to see how things between Isagi and Barou will settle. Barou denied changing his strategies according to the situation; therefore, Isagi resolved to use Barou and rule the field. But Barou couldn’t stand Isagi being better than him, so the upcoming episode will not only see both teams playing against each other, but it will also be a Barou vs. Isagi episode.

What Happened Previously In Blue Lock?

Team Red was leading the match with a 1-0 score. Isagi passed the ball to Barou, but the latter refused to pass it back. Kunigami stole the ball from Barou and scored a goal. Nagi pointed out Barou’s mistake, and the two started arguing, which made Isagi realize that he was the key man in the team and he had to create chemical reactions using them. Isagi smelled no goal from Barou, and on the contrary, the potential of Nagi to score a goal was endless. Nagi used his weapon and scored the first goal for the team.

Isagi confronted Barou and asked him to cooperate; however, the latter was reluctant to change his style and stated that he would rather lose instead of changing his techniques. Nagi assured Isagi that they both would be enough to win the match. The match started again, and a confrontation between Reo and Isagi erupted, which made the latter realize how Reo utilized the weapons of his teammates. With their combined efforts, Team Red scored the third goal.

Isagi swiftly began to rethink his strategies and remembered Naruhaya’s words about how he called him a genius of adaptability. Isagi decided to use Barou to score the goal and told Nagi to keep an eye on Isagi. As such, Isagi pretends to pass the ball to Barou but passed it to Nagi instead; with everyone keeping an eye on Nagi and Barou, Isagi used the blind spot to get an opening and scored a goal.

Barou couldn’t handle the fact that Isagi used him as a decoy, which enraged him. Barou somehow got hold of the ball, but then lost it again. Isagi stole the ball and passed it to Nagi, who scored the third goal for the team. At this point, Chigiri understood the weakness in his weapon; how he slowed down after getting the ball. But this time, he maintained his speed by kicking the ball far away and scored a goal, bringing the score to 4-3.
