After a brief delay,Black Cloverchapter 346 is now scheduled for an official release on Sunday, Jul 31, 2025, in the combined Shonen Jump issues 4 and 5. Here’s the release time the new chapter will follow for different locations, given its simultaneous release schedule:
It was rumored a few days back that the upcoming chapter of Black Clover would be receiving a delay. A lot of speculation surrounded this move, some suspected it was due to the health of the mangaka, others figured a Christmas break to be the cause, and others thought commitments surrounding the Black Clover movie were to blame. As it turns out, none of the theories proved to be correct as the upcoming chapter was delayed due to some unknown production issues with the chapter.
Right until the very end, it wasn’t confirmed if the new chapter was going to be released on December 11th, as the official websites of Manga Plus and Viz Media didn’t change the planned release date. But now, the new release date is confirmed on both websites, and an apology letter from the editorial department has also been published.
The apology starts with thanks to the fans for supporting Black Clover, followed by information regarding the delay and the new release date. They further state that due to production issues, they were not able to make the required corrections on time.

Last Time on Black Clover…
The previous chapter started with a small recap where Ryuya informs Asta and Ichika about the arrival of the enemies. Asta says that he wants to go and help the others as well, but Ryuya tells him to stay behind and continue his training. He warns Asta that if he doesn’t focus, the guy he is training with might end up killing him.
The scene then cuts to the present, where Asta’s opponent is attacking him fearlessly and overpowering him. He states that he wants to join the others, but as he is stuck with him, now he will take him down for real. His name is revealed to be Yosuga Mushogatake. Asta struggles battling him and states that the guy is insanely rough, and he won’t be able to take him down in a Zetten exchange. We then see another Ryuzen Seven member, who is playing a biwa. Asta thanks him as due to his Yojutsu, Asta is taking less damage. The biwa player states that he will back him up as Ryuya wants to help him as well.
Yosuga tells Asta that he is full of doubts, and this way, he won’t be able to perfect his Zetten. He states that he hesitates while fighting, and his convictions aren’t solid. Then he compares Asta to himself and says that there’s nothing his sword can’t cut through. Asta takes Yosuga’s words seriously and remembers the time when he couldn’t save Sister Lily and how he believed he could never beat Ichika. Asta wonders if a guy like him could ever become a Wizard King. He then remembers Yuno and says he would have possibly saved Sister Lily as he made it to the position of Grand Knight first, and he is getting stronger even as they speak.
The scene then cuts to Kezokaku, who seems terrified to see the five-headed dragon. Sister Lily feels pity for her and claims to give her a painless death. Ichika tells Kezokaku to stop whining and draw her sword, after which she takes on a completely new personality and cuts off one of Ichika’s horns.
