New surprises continue with the pre-release spoilers of the new chapter.
The main takeaway from the spoilers is that we get introduced to Sukehiro Yami’s younger sister. It’s not long before we’ll finally get to see Asta fighting his final battle with Lucius. But in his current state, he is not potent enough to stand a chance. It’s obvious that Asta needs someone to guide him in powering up before his battle versus Lucius, and Ichika Yami seems a perfect fit for a mentor. But currently, she seems to despise Asta and says that she doesn’t like men like him.

The chapter starts with Asta worrying about home and asking how he can return. Ryuudou says that he shouldn’t worry as Lucius will not be making a move anytime soon, alluding to Lucius' seven-day countdown. Asta asks what “Shogun” means, to which he replies that Shogun is just like the Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom. This comes as a surprise to Asta as he can’t sense any magic in Ryuudou. This makes the Tsundere woman angry, and she calls him an outsider.
All three then go on a tour of the town, and Asta learns that the people in the Hino Country use scrolls instead of grimoires and use sorcery instead of magic. Ryuudou then moves two civilians out of the way, before the town is attacked by bandits. Asta wonders if those two civilians were saved by coincidence or if it was Ryuudou’s all-seeing eye.
The bandits start calling Shogun weak, and Asta doesn’t notice any strength in his KI. Ryuudou himself admits that he doesn’t have magic. But soon, the Tsundere girl steps in, and her name is revealed as Ichika Yami. She defeats all the bandits in no time, and an instant increase in her KI shocks Asta. The crowd praises her.
Ryuudou reveals that Ichika Yami is Sukehiro Yami’s younger sister, and if he wants to get more powerful, he should be looking ahead to her and the seven dragons. But as soon as Asta comes anywhere closer to her, she grabs his head and pushes him away, telling him not to approach her so casually. She tells Asta that while Ryuudou is personally helping him, she hates men like him.
