The previous chapter of Black Clover ended on a mysterious note, with Asta waking in an unknown land. In Chapter 337, which will release this weekend, fans will get a clear picture of his whereabouts and also about the new guy that clearly seems to be his ally.
The spoilers for the upcoming chapter are out before its official release. Those who were worried about Asta’s whereabouts and his health can finally get a sigh of relief, but Black Bulls and Nacht are still far from easing off as they don’t know his location, nor are they able to find his body. So, it’s still a question for them if Asta is alive or not. On the other hand, the new guy seems to be an important character in the upcoming chapters and will possibly act as Asta’s mentor for his final battle against Lucius.

The new chapter will kick off with Nacht being the bearer of the bad news and telling the Black Bulls about Asta’s death. He says that Asta was mortally wounded and was eliminated by Spatial Magic, and given the circumstances, he should be considered dead. This comes as a surprise for everyone, but then they show their resistance to believing the news as they haven’t seen Asta’s body with their own eyes.
The scene then cuts to Asta, where he can be seen wearing a Kimono. There’s a large fully-healed scar on Asta’s chest, and Asta wonders how he could heal even though Mimosa is not present here. Soon, a man with a patch on his eye enters the room. The man says he doesn’t know about Mimosa, but he has known Yami since childhood. Asta is shocked to know that the man is Captain Yami’s friend, and then he realizes that they both have a similar KI. The man then says that the last time he saw Yami was when he was 13 years old.
Surprisingly, the man knows everything about Asta. He tells Asta that he has a broken heart, and the same person who broke his heart, along with the person he respected the most, nearly killed him. The man is clearly talking about Sister Lily and Lucius. Asta couldn’t understand how he knows so much about him, and the man points toward his eye patch and says that he sees what he wanted to see. The man then tells Asta that if he goes back now, he will definitely lose.
He then suggests Asta that he should train here for some time and increase his power. The man then reveals that this place is called Hi no Kuni, meaning the land of the sun, and it’s quite far away from the Clover Kingdom. The man reveals his name to be Ryudou Ryuuya and addresses himself as the general of the country.
