Outlander’s consistently high ratings have set it apart from other shows of the genre that had the hype but ultimately fizzled out. All shows must end but only a few retain their quality till the very end. The TV format by nature is meant to keep the episodes churning but a few shows managed to break the norms and tell a well-rounded story instead of fizzling out without direction. Shows likeThe Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Succession, and more have become legendary because of this.
