That is how he found himself living in New York on a friend’s couch and ended up working on a show titledLipschtick. The show ended up putting his name on the map and Jon Hamm found himself on the road to other projects.

The two ended up dating while they were making the show in New York and Hamm agrees that it was Jennifer Westfeldt who saved his career. Westfeldt also found international fame with her 2001 filmKissing Jessica Stein.
As the interview further continued, Hamm talked about how he is still not habituated to not worrying about bills. The actor was relieved that albeit late, it all worked out in the end for him.

It’s nice not to have to worry about how you’re going to pay your bills. And it’s a problem I’ve had for far longer than I haven’t had it.
