Baldur’s Gate 3is full of interesting little mysteries and riddles you need to solve. Whether you’re trying to figure out how to get around inBalthazar’s room, or you are trying to get through theGauntlet of Shar, you’ll have some tough trials.
One tough thing to do is to figure out what you do with the Broken Spear Parts. While they may be obvious at a later time in the game, when you find them in Act 1, you may not understand how they work. Here’s a guide to help you out.

The Head of a Broken Spear can be found on the body of the Owlbear. In order to find this creature, you will need to head to the Owlbear cave in Act 1. Once there, you will need to fight the ferocious beast. While this is a tough battle, you will get the Head of a Broken Spear and canrecruit the Owlbear’s babyto be a companion at yourcamplater on.
Where To Find Shaft Of A Broken Spear
You can find the Shaft of a Broken Spear on the body of Edowin. He is a follower of the Absolute and can be found right outside of the Druid’s Grove. His exact location is (X:136 Y:446). Once you find him, he will be dying and his siblings will be standing around him. You will need to speak to them before you can get to his body to loot the Shaft of a Broken Spear.
How To Combine Broke Spear Parts Into Vision Of The Absolute
Once you have found both parts of the broken spear, you can right click on either piece. From there, you will see the option to combine it. (This should be the very first option to appear.) Once you select that, you can drag both pieces into the combination popup and hit combine. This will create the Vision of the Absolute. While it isn’t the best spear in the game, it is a great one to have starting out.
