Who Is Akabi?
Akabi is a very interesting character in Baldur’s Gate 3. He is only one of two known Djinni in the game (the other beingYafeu). you may find him running a rigged game while you are checking out the Circus of the Last Days in Rivington.When you meet Akabi, he will offer to let you spin his wheel for 500 Gold. No matter how many times you attempt to spin this wheel, you will only ever end up with useless (or harmful) items that he gives out as “consolation prizes”.
How Do You Win Akabi’s Game?
If you have a high Perception, you may be able to pass the Perception Check after spinning the wheel. If you do, you will quickly learn that Akabi is actually cheating (considering he’s a Djinni, this isn’t shocking). However, if you accuse him of cheating, he will deny it. This means that you are going to have to cheat as well if you want to win this game.to beat the Djinni at his own game, you will need to pickpocket his Djinni Ring out of his pocket. If you do this, he cannot rig the game any longer, meaning you will automatically win if you spin the wheel again.
UsingAstarionor any other Rogue to pickpocket Akabi is the best option.
What Happens If You Win Akabi’s Game?
If you are able to win the game, he will accuse you of cheating and teleport you into a jungle area.While you can easily just find the portal in this area and head out, you can also find some decent loot here. You can find theBand of the Mystic Scoundreland a legendary trident. After you collect these items and make it to the portal, you will be brought right back to Rivington.
