Where To Find The Gloves Of Dexterity
The Gloves of Dexterity can be obtained by buying them fromA’jak’nir Jeera, a vendor atCrèche Y’llekunder theRosymorn Monasteryin theMountain Pass. The steps to finding this merchant are fairly simple.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully obtained the most broken item in the game. Here is a clip showing how to find A’jak’nir Jeera in the Creche.

How Good Are The Gloves Of Dexterity
Dexterity is inarguably the most important stat in D&D. Among other things,Dexterity directly governsArmor Class. Every two points in DEX means you get an extra +1 to AC.Gloves of Dexterity give the wearer 18 Dexterity(characters with higher DEX don’t get their stats reduced) and+1 to Attack.
Heavy Armordisallows any buffs to AC from DEX.Medium Armoronly allows a +2 bonus to AC from DEX. AndLight Armorand clothes allow unlimited bonuses to AC from DEX. This means that any class that wants to wear Heavy or Medium Armor doesn’t want Dexterity, but for other classes, the more, the better. No downsides.

Dexterity scaling classes likeRoguesandRangersare already pumping points into Dexterity, and they won’t see much use out of it. But classes likeWarlock,Sorcerer,Wizards,Clerics,Druids,Barbarians, andMonkswho don’t generally put too many points into Dexterity will. The Gloves of Dexterity’s flat 18 DEX is an incredible boon. AndBuffing Armor Class by +4, no questions asked.
Barbarians and Monks, in particular, benefit massively from the Gloves of Dexteritybecause they want to be unarmored to use theirUnarmored Defenseclass trait, making their AC suffer as a result. With the Gloves of Dexterity, they get the best of both worlds.
