Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 will launch for Switch on July 28th, followed by Xbox One andXbox Series X|Son August 2nd. The title will also be coming to PC, according to a statement from the developers which reads “Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is coming to PC on Steam! Development has begun with a release target of this Winter. More details will be revealed at a later date.”
Players can now add the latest instalment of the beloved platformer Azure Striker Gunvolt series to their wishlist onSteamto get notified of any future updates. As we can see from the store page, the game will include English language support, as well as eight other languages, including French, German, and Italian. Additionally, the PC version of Azure Striker Gunvolt will also include controller support, for those that don’t want to play with a keyboard and mouse.
Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 will be the sequel to the previous titles in the series. The high-speed 2D action game will introduce Kirin, who fights with her Katana to slay the enemies rapidly, as the new protagonist of the story. According to the game’s description, Kirin will be tasked with preventing Gunvolt from awakening by stealing him with her Septima, Radiant Fetters.
As a new element in the series, players will be able to switch between characters in the midst of skirmishes to create spectacular combos. Its fast-paced combat aims to offer an exhilarating action experience. Kirin and Gunvolt will both have unique skills and basic actions, shaping your gameplay with stylish attacks as the game progresses. In addition, Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 features “Story Mode+” in which characters will interact with each other during the missions. However, players should not expect the dialogue to be top-notch as it is not an RPG title.
