Mysterious Shards are items carried by Tha’abeen found roaming all across Baghdad and beyond. Eachregion has two Tha’abeencarrying amysterious shard each. What makes them tricky to locate is that they keep roaming around. Once you havecompleted the My Old Home quest, you should be able to see these collectibles marked on the map. Here is all you need to know about mysterious shards and where you can find them.

What Are The Rewards For Collecting Mysterious Shards?
Mysterious Shards are used tounlock the chests in the Isu Cave. There are three chests in total, and you need a specific number of Shards to unlock each of them. Here are the rewards you can get from the chests.
Description
The Samsaama
2 Mysterious Shards
Isu dagger with +27 damage and +27 defense damage. Every fifth hit gives 10% HP.
Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar
3 Mysterious Shards
Isu Sword with +46 damage and +78 defense damage. Lowers health by 50% and boosts damage by 50%
Milad’s Outfit
5 Mysterious Shards
Isu Armor which sets off lightning after successful assasination.
Assassins Creed Mirage: All Mysterious Shard Locations & Rewards
Here are all the estimated locations of the Tha’abeen. If you are unable to locate them when you reach the area,you may use Enkidu to find them. Since the Tha’abeen keep patrolling around a said area, they don’t have a fixed location, but their routes have been estimated. Additionally, it should be noted that they cango in both directions, clockwise and counterclockwise, so you need tosearch the entire perimeterin both directions to be sure.
Abbasiyah Mysterious Shard 1
Near the border of Abbasiyah and Karkh. This Tha’abeen is accompanied by a single guard.
Abbasiyah Mysterious Shard 2
Near the northern border of Abbasiyah. This Tha’abeen is alone.
Wilderness Mysterious Shard 1
Near Arban’s Western Gate. This Tha’abeen has multiple guards patrolling.
Wilderness Mysterious Shard 2
West of Jarjarayah Village. This Tha’abeen has multiple guards patrolling.
Karkh Mysterious Shard 1
In the southern part of Karkh, right near the border. This Tha’abeen is accompanied by a single guard.
Karkh Mysterious Shard 2
In the northern end of Karkh. This Tha’abeen is alone.
Round City Mysterious Shard 1
In the southern part of Round City. This Tha’abeen is accompanied by two guards.
Round City Mysterious Shard 2
In the northwestern part of Round City. This Tha’abeen is accompanied by a single guard.
Harbiyah Mysterious Shard 1
In the southwestern part of Harbiyah. This Tha’abeen is accompanied by a single guard.
