Apex Legends received an update earlier today that nerfed the newcomer Seer to the delight of many players, but now the game is suffering from messages starting that the Apex Legend is unable to connect to EA Serverson certain platforms.

Reports started to surface tonight on Twitter and Reddit about players being unable to connect to the servers for the game, as well as some getting kicked out of existing matches. This was shown especially with theDown Detector website, which showed many reports of downtime with the game.

Most of the reports with issues tonight seem to be centered around the PC version of the game, specifically with Steam. There have been some reports of issues with the Xbox version as well, but the major server outage seems to be exclusive to PC for now.

Not The First Time This Has Happened

The Apex Legends unable to connect to EA servers issue is far from a first-time occurrence with the game, as it’s popped up multiple times over the last couple of years.

According to past reports though, it looks like this has more often than not been associated with the PC version of the game, though some other platforms have been down around the same time too.

With a game like Apex Legends, getting booted from the game while playing is definitely far from ideal, especially if you are playing well. This is why people have been really wondering what is going on with the server issues.

Is There A Way To Fix Apex Legends Unable To Connect To Servers Error?

Unfortunately, there is really nothing that players can do to fix this issue. It is a server side issue with EA that they are working on and will have to get straightened out.

The odd thing with server errors like this though is that sometimes it won’t affect all players, so you may have some with no issues whatsoever. That is why is it worth trying to see if you’re able to get back on, though you have to know it’s possible you might get disconnected at some point.
