A bizarre new tweet from the official Twitter account ofApex Legendshas teased the release of a Loba swimsuit skin, something thirsty fans have been oddly requesting for many months now.“Ok, here’s the deal: if this post gets 10k likes, we’ll add the swimsuit skin,” reads the official tweet from Apex Legends. Unsurprisingly, it only took 10 minutes for fans to hit the 10k requirement, forcing the account to reply with a follow-up tweet saying, “Hit in 10 minutes, y’all are wild. We clearly should have asked for 100k, but a deal’s a deal. See you tomorrow.“We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, y’all really are wild.

Now, although we only have a simple tease fromRespawn Entertainment, data miners such asThordanSmashhave revealed that a new summer-themed collection event is on the way. A new trailer for the event will likely premiere later today and is expected to confirm the Sun Squad Collection Event for March 28th.
The next Apex Legends collection event will reportedly be themed around the beach, sun, and the fun of the summer season. Data miners have also revealed that various Legends, such as Seer, Newcastle, Ash, Fuse, Loba, Catalyst, and Mirage, will all receive new legendary skins themed around the event.
The Sun Squad Collection Event will also likely include a new prize tracker for players to complete across the course of the event, as well as changes to Storm Point, according to ThordanSmash.
However, for the time being, we’ll have to wait for more official details from Respawn Entertainment. Should the leaks be correct, a trailer and blog post for the new collection event will likely premiere later today.
