Apex Legends Season 12 Leak Reveals Mad Maggie's Legend Abilities

We’re still some time away from the release ofApex LegendsSeason 12, but leaks recently revealed that fans can expect Mad Maggie to be the next playable Legend to join Respawn’s Battle Royale title.

Now thanks to new data mined files, we’ve also got a pretty solid idea of what Mad Maggie’s abilities will be when she debuts as a Legend in Season 12. Of course, take all of this information with a pinch of salt until it’s made official by the developers, but here’s what fans can expect when Mad Maggie joinsApex Legends.

Thanks toGarret, a prominent data miner and leaker within theApex Legendscommunity, we’ve got a solid idea of what Mad Maggie’s abilities will be when she joins as a playable Legend in Season 12.

Teasers for the next Legend are expected to begin at some point towards the end of Season 11, with more official details arriving before Season 12 kicks off next year. But, according to the game’s files, one of Mad Maggie’s abilities will be related to throwing knives.

It’s currently unknown exactly how the ability will work, but it’s expected to be a bit more special than just a standard throwing knife, possibly even an incendiary knife. Mad Maggie may also have the ability to drop down a special ammo box, which Garret theorizes will include “buffed” ammo for the player to use.

Garret also revealed a small snippet of a cosmetic item related to Mad Maggie, which is expected to be a part of the Season 12 Battle Pass, the file suggests a special Skydive Emote for Mad Maggie will be available in the next Battle Pass. When IsApex LegendsSeason 12?

Unfortunately, an official release date for Season 12 ofApex Legendshasn’t been announced just yet. However, the next season is expected to release around the 8th of February, 2022.

This is the date in which the current Season 11 Battle Pass is due to end, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated when an official release date is set by Respawn Entertainment.
