Valve owns the most popular platform for PC games in the world, and since its launch, Steam has been the go-to for gamers regarding prices and support. Now, as the platform continues to improve, Steam Families is the new name of the former Family Share system, which has been updated with some exciting changes.

Xbox and PlayStation have similar setups, but with many people sharing games, this is something PC players want to enjoy as well. And with the updated system, players will have an even better way to share, with four different family members.

Valve keeps adding new things toSteamto improve the user experience, especially since the platform is the most used PC player market in the world. The main goal of the platform is to sell more games, and users are always giving their feedback.

Steam Familieswill let you have up to six different users in total, inside your family group. With this new option, two users can play the same game at the same time, as long as each member has the game. You can also apply parental control to every individual user to limit what kind of games they can play. Every family member’s game purchases can be under your control and approval.
This family system allows you to see how much time each member has spent playing every game. And every aspect of parental control has been greatly improved to make the experience more appropriate for children.

Steam players seem to be happy with these changes, especially those with kids who want to track what games they access, and how much time they play. This kind of change could apply to every other platform, but each company has its own agenda for how to manage content among different users.

I’m a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
