As soon as you land in Nalcott, you need a weapon to fight heinous beasts. Without sufficient firepower, you’ll just be fodder for deviants.
Even if you manage to pull off the first few encounters, the Great ones will knock you down until you overpower them with stronger weapons. It’s not just about weapons, though.
Your armor set, key gear, and overall set bonuses amplify your overall damage and pollution resistance. With each region, the enemies will grow stronger, and you eventually have to face Manibus, the final boss of the scenario.
No doubt the legendary weapons and armor sets pack a solid punch. But you must spend Starchrome to get them from the wishing machine, a rare commodity inOnce Human.
However, completing the entire game’s missions with in-game free weapons and armor is fairly easy. That’s what the Mystical crates exist for: to give you free weapons and armor blueprints.
