It’s not justSquare Enix that’s helping the wildfire relief effortsin Los Angeles. Activision announced today that it has donated $1 million to the relief efforts.

The studio has also released a Call of Duty bundle for Black Ops 6 and Warzone that should be available in the in-game shop.

Activision Steps Up To Aid Wildfire Relief Efforts In LA

If you think Activision is just making a profit by releasing a new bundle alongside its donation announcement, think again. The press release notes that 100% of the proceeds from the La Fire Relief pack sales will be donated to relief efforts, with the donations split between two charities. the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation (LAFD), and the Direct Relief.

Activision states that these donation efforts help support fire relief efforts while also giving the Call of Duty community “an opportunity to get involved” in helping those affected by the Los Angeles fires, which are ongoing today.

Based on the recent data released, there have been close to 30 people who have died due to the wildfires, with thousands affected by being displaced out of their homes. More than 80,000 are under mandatory evacuation orders, with more expect in the coming days.
