Balatro is aroguelikewith procedurally generated rounds, meaning there’s a seed system that allows you to share the lucky cards, jokers, and packs with other people by telling them the code to input.
If you’re looking for seeds, I’d assume you already know this, but Balatro substitutes jokers you don’t have unlocked with another random joker. So if something doesn’t appear for you when trying any of the below seeds, you just might not have it unlocked yet.

What’s unique about playing specific seeds is that I can also give you actual, specific guidance for the playthroughs you’ll have below. Assume you should only skip rounds when I say to. Otherwise, play out all the rounds until I give you the reigns so you’re able to experience your newfound power.
All of that said, these are eight different seeds that support different preferences and playstyles, allowing some flexibility, but usually making beating the run rather trivial and Endless Mode a fun challenge.

8Negative Brainstorm
One of the mostpowerful cards in the gameis Brainstorm, as it duplicates the effects of a card, similarly to Blueprint. It’s awesome to have around.
Luckily enough, the seed E49PIJ7B grants you a negative brainstorm immediately after the first round, letting you build your run however you wish.
In addition, The Idol can be obtained for the rest of your money if you won the first round in a single hand, and that card is great for runs that take time to cull their deck.
Right after the boss blind, you’ll find a Buffoon Pack containing Mime or Swashbuckler, both of which can be the centerpiece of a specific build.
7Chicot Forever
This is quite the funny one. The first thing you do on 9757U4RA is skip the first round for a free legendary joker, which turns out to be Chicot every time.
This is a great legendary to start the game with, given you don’t have to worry about boss blinds screwing with your build in progress, and can sell it for $10 when you don’t need it anymore.
On an even better note, after you beat the big blind, the first buffoon pack on offer will have an Invisible Joker ripe for the taking, which can be used for quite a few great jokers.
For example, you can keep it in your back pocket, finish the small blind on Ante 2, reroll once, grab a Bloodstone, and let it duplicate that, making for an incredible heart deck.
6Overly Erratic
This onerequires the Erratic Deck, as it will change every card inside to the 10 of Spades—meaning you will get a Flush Five for every single hand you play.
As a little heads up, the first few shops only contain Walkie Talkie and nothing else of value, but you’re able to glide past the first few antes pretty smoothly due to the high value of a flush five.
Balatro: 10 Best Spectral Cards
One of the most powerful card types in Balatro, Spectral cards can help you win a run.
Rerolling after the Ante 2 Small blind grants a Chariot and a Hanging Chad, and there’s a Ride the Bus after the Ante 3 Big Blind, but you’ll have to do a bit of scrounging around otherwise.
Aside from those cards and an early Walkie Talkie, there isn’t much in the way of overpowered jokers, so I implore you to use this seed for experimenting with a deck this silly.
5King Stuff
Firstly, to get running with 47KQV874, you need to skip the first roundfor the Rare Joker tag, then resist the temptation of the double tag and play out round 2 instead.
After that, the shop will have a free DNA and an $8 Baron, a combo that allows you to duplicate tons of kings for some of the best mult generation in the game.
Play the big blind on Ante 2, and the shop afterwards will contain an invisible joker and a burnt joker, both of which help quite a bit with this run, making for great culled or high card count decks alike.
Once you get to Ante 3, the first buffoon pack has a Blueprint waiting for you, which is most effectively used by moving it around to copy the DNA, then copy the Baron.
4Constant Mitosis
If you love watching things get multiplied and duplicated, 8BEHUNTU is for you. It’ll start you off with two double tags for skipping the first two rounds, and it gets better.
The first shop after the boss blind has a Hanging Chad available, and the Buffoon Pack contains a foil Photograph, meaning your first face card gets played three times for 2x mult each.
You can also nab a Baseball joker right after the small blind, which can come in handy if you find a bunch of uncommon cards to facilitate it and get extreme multiplying action.
I would have this quite a bit higher if there were an easier way to grab a Baron or a Sock and Buskin early, but as far as I can see, those aren’t super obtainable dreams.
3Over and Over Again
First things first on FJR4PMTU—skip the first two blinds for two Polychrome card tags, then after the boss blind, you get granted a shiny new Polychrome Brainstorm for free.
That isn’t it, though. Crack open that buffoon pack for a foil Card Sharp or a free blueprint (the latter being my pick of the two) for extra joker effect duplication.
After this, you’re able to either reroll the shop for a Polychrome Popcorn, or beat the small blind to get it anyway. It’s not the best Polychrome ever, but it gets you through a few rounds.
That said, the first shop after the Ante 2 boss blind grants you both a Hanging Chad and a Showman, and the shop after the Ante 3 Big Blind has a Sock and Buskin for extra repeating.
2Dominant Strategy
At the start of your run with HJYPULJ3,skip the first blind for a free Perkeoalongside a Death card if you’d like, then play out everything after that.
The shop after the big blind has a Hanging Chad, but more importantly, the Spectral Pack has an Ankh card, letting you duplicate that Perkeo at absolutely no risk whatsoever.

Not all Jokers have to be legendary to be powerful.
Right after that boss, you can grab a $10 Brainstorm right away, and you’ve essentially cracked the code for having an endless amount of whatever consumable you want.
I’d recommend finishing the Ante 2 small blind, grabbing the Arcana pack, and hitting the emporer for a Death card and a Moon card, making deck culling an absolute breeze.
1Legendary Luck
This seed is rather notoriously one of the best, and it’s best played with the Yellow Deck. You start ALEEB by playing the first round and cracking the Arcana pack in the shop.
This pack contains a soul card that gives you Canio. In fact, most of the Arcana packs contain a soul card on this seed, letting you acquire every legendary.
After the big blind, you can acquire the Ceremonial Dagger, allowing a ton of Mult gain from the legendaries you aren’t quite fond of, making for a hell of a tool.
Either way, Triboulet and Perkeo are two of the best cards in the game, and there just so happens to be a $10 blueprint available after the Ante 2 Big Blind, so I say take advantage of all of that.
