Agatha All Alongmight have started out on a dicey note, but the show really seemed to pick up steam towards its finale. What was initially written off as possibly one of the worst superhero offerings of the year, not only managed to find its footing but also exceeded the expectations of those who were actually into it.

The finale of the show echoed some ofWandaVision‘s best parts, focusing on introducing Billy Kaplan in earnest into the MCU, such that he could be part of the Young Avengers. However, there is one reason that the show has now become important to Marvel Studios, among other interesting revelations about the show.
1Agatha created The Witches Road
Agatha All Along‘s finale revealed that The Witches Road was just fiction that Agatha conjured up. However, when Billy manifested the Road, in reality, Agatha’s plans of using this as an opportunity to regain her power were compromised, given that she hoped to slay her new coven and regain her power in the process. However, given that she too was fooled into believing that the Witches Road was real at the onset of the show, it shows how much the fiction she had created got away from her, gaining a life of its own.
2Nicholas Scratch’s Other Parent
Nicholas Scratch was the son of Agatha who was doomed to die according toAubrey Plaza‘s Rio. It has long been speculated that the father of Nicholas Scratch was Mephistopheles himself, given that the character was referred to throughout the show. Further, the show was the first confirmation of the fact that Mephistopheles exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“That’s my dream”: Kathryn Hahn Relishes Being 1 of Only 2 Marvel Actors With Rare MCU Record after Agatha All Along N*de Scene
Agatha has been accused of giving up her child for power, which could come as a deal made with Mephisto. However, there is also a section of the fandom that believes that Death adopted the child, which was the entire reason that Rio was interested in the kid and Agatha.
3Agatha All Along’s Finale Viewership
One of the most important indicators for any show is the viewership that it gets in the first 24 hours. Given that Marvel judges the characters’ popularity based on how well it does in terms of streaming numbers, it is safe to say that Agatha All Along has won hearts over at Disney.
As reported byVariety, the second last episode of the show hit a whopping 4.6 million views, and while the viewership dropped in the finale, it was still a respectable 3.9 million. To put it in contrast, the finale ofX-Men ’97received 3.5 million views for its finale in its first week, a numberAgatha All Alongexceeded in its first 24 hours. However,LokiSeason 2 still holds the crown, given that its finale drew a whopping 11.2 million eyeballs in the first three days.

4The Murder of the Witches
Agatha was painted in a pretty damning light inWandaVision, with fans growing fond of the character over the run of theAgatha All Along. However, the finale reminded audiences what a stone-cold killer Agatha was, being responsible for some of the most tragic witch deaths in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, his passing into her incorporeal form might be her saving grace, given that she grew to care for Billy enough, that she would rather see the young sorcere die. However, it still doesn’t undo the fact that Agatha slew a lot of witches in her thirst for power.
