In manyCODs we got to see definitive endings, like Captain Price lighting the cigar inModern Warfare 3after killing Makarov or Mason coming out of the water after killing Dragovich inBlack Ops 1. However, inBlack Ops 6, we got many loose ends at the end of the game. And fans are ready with their theories once again.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6– Theories about Campaign Endings

Theending ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6is quite intriguingand mysterious. In the end, we saw the main protagonist of the game, William ‘Case’ Calderon, kill the main antagonist, Jane Harrow, in the helicopter in which she tried to escape. Now, after Harrow was killed, it seemed Case eventually died as the chopper was on fire, but it was never confirmed. Here are some of the fan theories regarding the ending of the game.

“Players can only match with and against who is online”: Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is Bringing Back a Hated Feature Even Ubisoft Vowed to Abandon in XDefiant

In the first theory, this fan emphasizes the similarities between the endings ofBlack Ops 1andBlack Ops 6. InBO1, Mason killed Major General Nikita Dragovich and, in the end, managed to escape the drawing ship and eventually survived.

Also, both of the antagonists were killed by choking or drowning. Another similarity is that both protagonists went through the same kind of torture, like brainwashing or experiments. That is why, being a supersoldier, there are high chances that Case also survived, just like Mason.

The second theory was about having similarities withBlack Ops Cold War. InCold War, Bell and Alder were at odds. Alder lived, and based on his personality, he killed Bell for national security reasons. Alder had a strong sense of commitment, especially to his work.

InBO6, both characters had the opportunity to reappear in the final scene because of the way the ending was written. They fought against the helicopter’s door at the end of the battle, and then there was a loud noise that was likely the door opening.

In the third theory, another fan found uncanny similarities between theBlack Ops Cold Warand the recently launched title. However, unlike the second theory, this fan thinks Case has faced the same destiny just like Bell in the previousBlack Opstitle.

According to the fan, a deadly dose of the gas was inhaled by Case after the Cradle canister cracked in the helicopter, causing him to go insane and brutally beat Harrow to death before drowning. In the future, Raven and Treyarch won’t interact with Bell and Case very often.

Who Was the Man at the Very End ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6?

One important thread that is left unfinished in this case is who the mystery hacker in the last scene is. Online speculation about his identity has already begun; two well-liked theories are the player character Case and Alex Mason fromBlack Ops 1.

Case was last seen in a helicopter with the manipulative Harrow while under the influence of Cradle, which suggests that he may have joined the Pantheon. He appeared ready to be taken prisoner and brainwashed.

“Thank you for adding prestiges back”: Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Fans Are Pleased To See This Classic Feature Announced At COD Next 2024

In the game, many more questions remain unanswered. Who, for instance, was dispatched to kill Harrow’s parents when she was a child? Was it Adler? Why did Livingstone fabricate the Pantheon’s origin story? And is he really trustworthy?

Additionally, there are inquiries concerning Cradle: Whose voice did Case hear repeatedly in his mind while using the bioweapon? And how does Cradle relate to the legend of the zombies? All of these storylines will undoubtedly be carried over and developed in the upcomingBlack Opsgame.
