Other than a few fresh changes, the game plays very similarly to other Bullet Heavens, though it does add a dash mechanic, something that is surprisingly absent from the other games of the genre. Keep in mind that the dash doesn’t give you any invincibility, meaning you won’t be able to avoid damage during the animation of the dodge.

With the twist of only being able to see a certain distance and monsters coming from all sides, 20 Minutes Till Dawn makes the player work overtime, trying to dodge incoming enemy attacks and fight off the hordes for the duration of each run. It has a decent amount of customizability and replayability, rewarding players for exploring new paths.

Not quite a bullet heaven, Just King is an auto battler with a lot of roguelike elements. The gameplay feels like a mishmash between Super Auto Pets, Slay The Spire, and Hades. Having four different characters on the screen can feel disorienting at first, but you get used to it after a little time.
Though the world is fairly small, requiring an hour or so to complete a run if you’re successful, there are a lot of different combinations to try, keeping the game fresh for a much longer time. The different routes, bosses, characters, and a few small story moments all add an RPG element to the game, making it even more fun.
Strip away all the nonsense and superfluous elements of a top-down survival roguelike and add the graphics ofan excellent stickman gameto get yourself Brotato. The game offers a lot to the player that other games don’t necessarily have.
Chief amongst these is the option to change the difficulty of the game by changing the health, speed, and damage of enemies. With each run being less than 30 minutes, Brotato is the perfect game to play every now and again whenever you have some free time.
